Eleanors yoga journey began over 25 years ago with her first yoga teacher training and she has since studied with the three teachers  in the world today who were taught directly by Krishnamacharya        (1888-1989)  the renowned father of modern yoga. an Indian Ayurvedic healer, scholar & yoga teacher.














She is a private student of his youngest daughter Srishubha and each week she teaches Eleanor not just as her father taught her but as herself, for Srishubha is a unique teacher and teaches from the heart. 














Eleanor is a certified forestbathing guide, currently immersed until 2025 with mentors and the leading naturalist in the UK, in a nature-based combination of transformative learning in the delivery of nature-based therapies and wellness practices. 

When I am among the trees, especially the willows and the honey locust, equally the beech, the oaks and the pines, they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily. I’am so distant from the hope of myself, in which I have goodness,and discernment, and never hurry through the world  but walk slowly, and bow often. Around me the trees stir in their  leaves  and call out,  “Stay awhile.”  The light flows from their branches. And they call again,  “It’s simple,”  they say, and you too have come into the world to do this, to go easy, to be  filled with light, and to shine. ~ by Mary Oliver
